Notes on a Brewday: Hopbursted Clustercream



Does everything happen for a reason? Does every batch of homemade beer have something to teach us, as brewers and as people? Must every accident be an unhappy one? Must every forgotten hop addition be ... oh, nevermind.

Now let's meditate on these mysteries and watch some yeast floccs swirl in that video up there.



Grist:
  • 7.5 lbs Rahr 2-row
  • 0.5 lbs Briess Caramel 10
Mash:
  • 150 F - 60" 
Boil:
  • 1 oz Cluster  @ 20"
Ferment:
  • Wyeast 1056
  • 10 days @ 65 F

  1. How much do you want to know? that's funny stuff! My wife was talking to our newborn child the other day, and I overheard her say...now remember Leo..you can't start drinking Dad's beer until your 18. Needless to say, she was born and raised in Lacrosse, Wisconsin.
