If you haven't started planning to plan for this spring's Maibock, you best get started!May is probably the most useless month in the year, but at least this beer gives it one redeeming quality. Seriously, name one good thing that happens in that month. May-day? Did you honestly just say May-day?!
Our Maibock is a sort of hybrid between the Northern Brewer recipe and the one put forth by Jamil Z. in Brewing Classic Styles: 20 lbs German Pilsen, 8 lbs Munich and 1 lbs Carahell.
